Content Sources

Learn how to connect and manage content sources to automatically import content into your channel.

Duzlo Add Content modal with YouTube source preview and import filters

Overview

A content source is a connected social account (e.g. YouTube) that feeds content into your Duzlo channel.

Once connected, new content you upload to YouTube, etc. is automatically imported and made available for clippers to discover, without requiring any additional action. This allows creators to continuously distribute content on autopilot.

You can also apply filters to control what content gets imported, helping you prioritize specific formats or types of videos.

Supported platforms

Currently, Duzlo supports:

  • YouTube
  • Kick (coming soon)
  • Twitch (coming soon)

Adding a content source

You can connect a content source in two ways:

  • Navigate to the Content Sources section in your channel settings
  • Click Add Content from your dashboard

Both options open the same setup flow.

To add your source:

  1. Paste your YouTube channel link
  2. Review the import’s content preview
  3. Configure your import filters and settings

By default, Duzlo will display your 30 most recent uploads.

Import settings and filters

When setting up a content source, you can define how content is imported.

Minimum duration

Choose the minimum length a video must be to be imported:

  • Longer than 5 minutes
  • Longer than 10 minutes
  • Longer than 15 minutes
  • Longer than 30 minutes

This is useful for filtering out short-form content or highlights.

For example, a podcast that uploads both full episodes and shorter highlights may choose to only import videos longer than 10 minutes to focus on full episodes and avoid duplicate content.

Import range

Choose how far back Duzlo should import content:

  • Import everything (up to the last 30 uploads)
  • Past 1 month
  • Past 3 months
  • Past 6 months
  • Only future uploads

If you only want new content going forward, select Only future uploads.

If you want to import older content beyond the last 30 uploads, you can manually add it by pasting the video link instead of the source link. If at any point in time you have questions, you can contact Duzlo for guidance.

Submission deadline

As part of setup, you will define a default submission deadline for newly imported content specifically from this connection.

This determines how long clippers can submit posts after content is imported. By default, this is set to 14 days, which is recommended for most creators.

You can update this setting on the content source or imported content at any time.

Managing content sources

Duzlo content sources list with source actions and remove confirmation

Content sources can be updated or removed at any time.

  • You can edit filters such as minimum duration and submission deadline
  • You can delete a content source without affecting already imported content

Deleting a content source does not remove content that has already been added to your channel.

Manual content import

If a video does not appear automatically, you can manually import it:

  1. Click Add Content
  2. Paste the video link

This is useful if:

  • The content was uploaded recently and hasn’t synced yet
  • The content falls outside your selected filters
  • You want to import content older than your last 30 uploads
  • The content is from a source you do not want to connect

Sync behavior

  • Duzlo checks connected content sources every 5 minutes for new uploads
  • If new content is detected, it is automatically imported based on your configured filters
  • If you believe content was missed or want it to appear immediately, you can manually import it

Special cases

YouTube premieres

YouTube premieres are imported to Duzlo at their scheduled start time.

If you want to manually import a premiere before it starts, it may display a duration of 00:00. This is expected behavior and will resolve automatically within about an hour after the premiere begins.

Paused channels

If your channel is paused (either manually or due to a failed payment):

  • Content sources will continue to import new content
  • New submissions will not be accepted on any content while the channel is paused

Once the channel is resumed, newly imported content will begin accepting submissions until its submission deadline. If the deadline has already passed, the content will be marked as closed.

Reopening content

Content that has stopped accepting submissions can always be reopened by extending its submission deadline to a future date.

Limits

There is no limit to the number of content sources you can connect to a channel.

Key takeaways

  • Content sources automate content import into your channel
  • Filters allow you to control what content is imported
  • New content is checked every 5 minutes
  • You can manually import content at any time
  • Content sources can be edited or removed without affecting existing content

Setting up content sources correctly allows your channel to run continuously on auto-pilot with minimal manual effort.
