Content strategies

Learn how to maximize performance on Duzlo, whether you are posting content as a clipper or distributing content as a creator.

For Clippers

Choose content with strong signals

Start by identifying content with a strong Opportunity Score and a healthy RPM estimate. These signals indicate where earning potential currently exists. However, do not rely on a single metric. The best opportunities often come from a combination of solid RPM, growing virality, and manageable competition. You can also trust your gut by watching the content and seeing if you think there are viral worthy moments in it.

Prioritize early submissions

Submitting immediately after posting can give your post more time to earn within the 7-day earning period. While late submissions can still perform well, early submissions benefit from longer exposure and more opportunities to capture momentum.

Focus on view velocity

Earnings are influenced not just by total views, but by how quickly those views come in. Posts that gain traction early tend to earn more as they outperform other active submissions during key periods of reward distribution.

Test different formats

Different audiences respond to different formats. Try variations in hooks, captions, edits, and pacing. Even on the same piece of content, one format may significantly outperform another, so don’t be afraid to clip up the same moment across several different posts.

Don’t ignore moderate opportunities

Content with a moderate Opportunity Score can often be overlooked by others, creating less competition than you would expect. Clippers who are willing to test and iterate may find strong earning potential where others are not looking.

Stay within guidelines

High-performing posts that violate guidelines or are submitted late can be rejected or disqualified, resulting in lost earning opportunity. Consistently following submission guidelines ensures your effort translates into actual rewards.

For Creators

Guide attention with submission deadlines

Use submission deadlines to control where clippers focus. Shorter deadlines shift attention toward newer content, while longer deadlines allow for broader distribution across multiple pieces of content. Each has its own benefits, so choose what aligns with your goals.

Balance content overlap

Having multiple active pieces of content increases total distribution, but also increases competition between submissions. Too much overlap without sufficient budget can reduce RPM and lower overall earning potential for clippers.

Find a balance that matches your posting frequency and budget.

Use Boosts strategically

Boosts are one of the most effective tools for directing clipper behavior. Use them to:

  • Accelerate new content early
  • Revive underperforming but high-potential content
  • Double down on content that is already gaining traction

Boosts can significantly increase a piece of content’s attractiveness and visibility.

Align budget with demand

As more submissions are created and more views are generated, your weekly budget is spread across more activity. If demand is high but budget is limited, RPM may decrease and Opportunity Scores may drop.

Increasing budget or allocating additional spend through Boosts can help maintain strong earning incentives.

Monitor Opportunity Scores

Opportunity Scores provide insight into how your content is performing within the marketplace. Low scores may indicate:

  • Too much competition
  • Insufficient budget
  • Weak content performance

Use this signal to adjust deadlines, Boosts, or overall spend.

Optimize for clipper success

The easier your content is to clip and generate views from, the more participation you will attract. Content that is engaging, high quality, easy to edit, and performs well on social platforms will naturally drive more submissions and better results.
