Boosts

Creators can use Boosts to increase the earning opportunity on specific content.

Overview

Boosts are additional budget allocations applied to a specific piece of content. When a Boost is applied, a greater share of rewards is directed toward submissions tied to that content, increasing how much those submissions can earn relative to others on the channel.

Benefit

Boosts are typically used to increase visibility, improve performance, and raise the Opportunity Score of a piece of content. By allocating additional rewards toward a specific piece of content, Boosts make it more attractive for clippers to post, which can lead to more submissions, faster distribution, and increased reach for creators.

Boosts are especially effective for:

  • Content believed to be extra viral
  • New content that you want to accelerate early
  • Content that is already performing well and worth doubling down on

Duration

The default duration of a Boost is 7 days from the moment it was placed on the content.

How Boosts are funded

Boosts are funded using your channel’s existing available credits, which, depending on your credit balance, typically eliminates the need for a payment to Boost content.

Boosting content

Currently, Boosts are applied manually by the Duzlo team. To Boost a piece of content, you will need to contact the Duzlo team directly. In the future, creators will be able to apply Boosts directly from their dashboard.

Disclaimer

Boosts are an additional expense on-top of your channel’s weekly spend limit. This means that as rewards are distributed to Boosted content, credits can be consumed at a faster rate than your channel’s weekly limit, which may result in more frequent credit top-ups. For example, a channel with a $1,500 weekly limit and $500 active Boost can spend up to $2,000 in the week that the Boost is active.
